Hatha Vinyasa Yoga
Yoga is not a fad or the latest trend…
As a truly ancient science (going back literally thousands of years!), the practice of Yoga is incredibly significant in the lives of millions around the globe. For the young and the elderly, the very supple and not so flexible, it’s safe for the injured, recommended for pregnancy and is wonderful for children as well. Yoga is for every body and can be tailored to suit where you are on your life’s journey.
Yoga is a complete system of physical and mental practices, designed to bring balance and harmony, strength, vitality and flexibility, as well as relaxation and a sense of inner calm to both the body and the mind.
Through the practice of physical postures (asana), breath observation and regulation (pranayama) and relaxation techniques, the student becomes more aware of themselves. Through exercising all parts of the body – muscles, joints, organs, glands and nerves; tension is relieved, the body revitalized and the mind calmed.
When movement is sychronised with breath, we are practising Hatha Vinyasa Yoga.
After a well balanced Yoga practice, one would expect to feel many fabulous benefits including;
- Improved sleeping habits
- Increased vitality, flexibility & strength
- Greater internal awareness & general wellbeing
- Improved posture & balance
- Improved digestive, respiratory & eliminatory function
- True relaxation & a real sense of calm
I welcome you to experience what has worked for so many, for so long… The beautiful practice of Yoga.
Namaste
